About Us – Joe & Colleen Lane
Customer Focused, Service Driven
In real estate, a few things establish a great reputation like prompt, efficient service with a customer-oriented approach. With over 20 years of combined experience in the real estate industry and in serving customers, we have developed a customer-oriented perspective to real estate transactions, a perspective that has helped countless buyers and sellers get the real estate transaction they were looking for.
Honesty and integrity are two of the guiding principles of our real estate practice and we bring those two tenets to the table at every meeting. It is important to us that you feel comfortable in the fact that your real estate agent is always looking out for you and always dealing with you in an honest fashion. It’s funny that something as simple as honesty paired with communication can be the difference so many times between a rocky transaction and a smooth one.
A Piece of America
The National Association of Realtors code of ethics has become the guiding document for our real estate practice as we have vowed to serve the customer in an ethical, honest fashion. That integrity comes through in every Kennewick real estate transaction we go through. What we as realtors are doing is helping you own a piece of land in the United States of America and its core, which often becomes one of the most important aspects of a person’s life. You will create memories in any home you purchase and helping you turn that into a reality is one of our passions.
Expert, Efficient Service
With over 20 years of combined service, we are well versed in the ways of Kennewick real estate. We have seen homes turn over more than once. We have helped buyer after buyer move up from starter home to a bigger home. We have watched Kennewick grow around us and we bring the same excitement and dedication to each transaction as if it were our first. Being a part of the Tri-Cities and Kennewick communities is an important part of our lives, both personally and professionally, and helping people buy and sell real estate there is what we do best.
About Joe
A lot of the communication and leadership skills I have utilized as a real estate agent were formed during my time in the United States Marines. After six years, I took that time and experience to my first of many rental properties in 1986 after marrying Colleen. Since that first purchase, I have developed a wide range of skills in real estate that range from handling property management to executing sales on various types of properties.
My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree from Christian Heritage College in El Cajon, Ca., in business management and marketing. I complimented those degrees with minors in accounting and pre-law to round out my education. Aside from my time in the Marines, I am also a member of the National Ski Patrol and have devoted the lion’s share of my efforts to help raise the five wonderful children Colleen and I have been blessed with. A pride of mine has been active volunteer work with men’s ministry services and I am currently a member of the Bible Study Fellowship.
About Colleen
My pre-marriage life consisted of working as a loan officer. That background in part led to our first rental property purchase in 1986 and since then we have committed ourselves fully to real estate. Over twenty years have passed since then. Since 1994 I have been a licensed real estate agent in both Washington and California.
Of course, the loves of my life are my five children ranging from 16 months to 16 years old. We have long been members of the Bethel Church in Richland and I have been an active volunteer in both ministry services and general volunteer work for many years. Our 22 rental properties in the Tri-Cities area keep us busy, but the love of our family keeps us strong, active, and ready to serve new customers each day.
